mormons are not Christians...any group that denies the deity of Christ is a cult...Jesus is God...Believe that, teach that then you will be considered Christian...

Mormons hold firmly to the deity of Christ. For members of the Church of Jesus Christ (LDS), Jesus is not only the Son of God but also God the Son. Evangelical pollster George Barna found in 2001 that while only 33 percent of American Catholics, Lutherans, and Methodists (28 percent of Episcopalians) agreed that Jesus was “without sin”, 70 percent of Mormons believe Jesus was sinless.

I would like to respond to Bruce. Mormons do not deny the deity of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Great I AM, the Almighty God, the Alpha and the Omega. Mormons not only are taught that specifically, but they have scripture in the Book of Mormon that points it out directly.

You are absolutely correct, Bruce, that anyone who does not accept Jesus Christ as God — the God of Israel, the God of the Bible, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace — is not Christian. You may be confusing Mormons with Jehovah Witnesses, who teach that Jesus is a "created creature."

There are, however, some ignorant Mormons who have not bothered to study the scriptures or pay attention to gospel principles. These kind of Mormons, despite the fact they have been told over and over that Jesus is our God, run around making fools of themselves by thinking he is not. They have not bothered to learn much about anything on their own, let alone even listened to discussions on the topic.

Jesus is Jehovah. There is none like him, a just God and a Savior, our God and our fathers' God. Any Mormon who does not know that for an absolute certainty doesn't deserve to be called a Mormon.
